AC Milan were left frustrated by Bologna as the two sides played out a goalless draw in a Serie A match. Two former Milan players were in the dugout - Gennaro Gattuso for the 'Rossoneri' and Filippo Inzaghi for Bologna - but neither head coach could inspire their side in a match played in poor visibility due to fog and mist. Gonzalo Higuain had a couple of chances from long range in the first half, but the visitors rarely troubled Bologna goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski. Rodrigo Palacio proved Bologna's main attacking threat - Gianluigi Donnarumma was equal to his 27th-minute effort. The hosts ended the match strongly after Milan were reduced to 10 men following Tiemoue Bakayoko's dismissal for pushing over Federico Santander. But Palacio was wasteful in front of goal and the match ended 0-0.
