The England assistant coach was left feeling proud of his side after showing solidarity with the West Indies. Graham Thorpe: “It was important to show solidarity with the West Indies. It’s probably been discussed over the last few days [Black Lives Matter], we’ve had some team chats about it and the bottom line is, we feel there is no room for racism in our sport. I think from the England team perspective today, it was good to show that solidarity with the West Indies. Children from different backgrounds, race and religions, you want them to be able to stand together as well. That’s the type of thing we spoke about yesterday as a team before the game. If that’s a start from the England cricket team today to have shown that, then we’re proud to of done it."
