Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and opted to bowl first, Smriti Mandhana's scintillating 68 off 49 balls took Trailblazers to a fighting 118/8 wickets in 20 overs. At one stage Smriti Mandhana looked to set a big total but it was left-arm spinner Radha Yadav's brilliant bowling effort of 5 for 16 towards the end that wreaked havoc on the Trailblazers'. Radha also became the first player to claim a five-wicket haul in the history of the Women's T20 Challenge. Chasing the paltry target of 119, Supernovas kept on losing wickets at regular intervals. Supernovas skipper Harmanpreet Kaur tried her best with a fighting 30-run knock but she couldn't get support from other batters. Bangladeshi off-spinner Salma Khatun was the pick of the bowlers for Trailblazers picking up 3 wickets while Deepti Sharma also picked up two wickets as Supernovas were restricted to 102/7 in 20 overs.
