Cricket News : We have to change our game- new captain Rohtit Sharma on India's future

India's new white-ball captain Rohit Sharma said he is open to a "change in approach" to find success in the shorter format of the game in the near future.

Sharma was elevated as the captain of India after Virat Kohli was removed as the ODI captain in December.

Speaking on the eve of India's latest shorter format series against the West Indies, Sharma said "it's not like you have to suddenly come and try and copy what the other teams are doing" and claimed his team is still a good team with good players and the recent loss to South Africa was only a blip in the long run.

India is scheduled to play three ODIs and three T20is against the West Indies in February.
