Indian captain Virat Kohli has made a considerable gain in the latest ICC Test rankings. Numero Uno Virat has gained 14 points to reach 934 points after a valiant first-innings knock of 123 in the second Test at Perth. Apart from Virat, vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane moved up two places to 15th and wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant moves up 11 places to a career-best 48th. Among bowlers, Mohammad Shami moved up two places to 21st in ICC Test rankings for bowlers. Shami bagged 6 wickets in 2nd innings of the Perth Test and he is rewarded for his brilliant performance while Jasprit Bumrah moves up five places to a career-best 28th in the list for bowlers. Bumrah too has been in terrific form with the ball bagging 5 wickets in the 1st innings of Perth Test.
