Left-arm pacer Jaydev Unadkat and uncapped cricketer Varun Chakravarthy fetched whopping deals of Rs 8.4 crore each in the 2019 IPL auction held in Pink City Jaipur becoming the costliest buy among the cricketers who went under the hammer so far. Jaydev Unadkat was the biggest buy of IPL 2018 who was bought by Rajasthan Royals for a whopping 11.5 Crores. He was released by Rajasthan before the 2019 auction and surprisingly he is bought by the same franchise for 8.4 crores. The biggest surprise of the day is 27 years old from Tamil Nadu Varun Chakravarthy. Varun Chakravarthy has played only 1 first-class match and he has bagged a staggering 8.4 Crores by Kings XI Punjab at the auction and he is known as the mystery spinner.
