Cricket News: Sunil Gavaskar terms BCCI selection committee ‘lame ducks’

Former India captain and legendary Test batsman Sunil Gavaskar has torn into the BCCI selection committee and questioned why Virat Kohli has automatically continued in his position as skipper even though his appointed ended with the ICC World Cup in England and Wales. The former India skipper feels that there should have been a formal meeting to re-appoint Kohli. Gavaskar questioned the way the selection committee chose the team for the upcoming tour of West Indies and even called for players of better stature to be a part of the group.
