Cricket News: RCB beat Kings XI Punjab by 8 wickets in IPL

The Virat Kohli lead Royal Challengers Bangalore finally got their 2019 IPL campaign off the mark as they beat the Kings XI Punjab at the PCA stadium by 8 wickets to register their first win of this season. This was also Kings XI Punjab’s first home loss this season thus ending their unbeaten run at home. It was RCB who the toss and elected to bowl first. The Kings though lost inform opener, KL Rahul, early but Chris Gayle kept the scoreboard ticking. Gayle like he does start off slow and then unleashed the Gaylestorm to take the home side to 173-4 in their 20 overs and remained unbeaten at 99 not out just following short of his century of this season by one run. RCB though in their chase looked comfortable as Virat Kohli and ABD came to the party scoring 67 and 59 not out respectively to chase down their target in the last over to get a much-needed belt win under their belt.
