The Kings XI Punjab fought back when it looked they were down and out to beat the Rajasthan Royals by 14 runs to start they IPL season 12 campaign on a winning note. After a slow start Chris Gayle turned up the ante has he begun smashing the Rajasthan bowlers to all around the park and ended up scoring a blistering 79. The biggest talking point of the game was Jos Butler being mankaded by Kings XI Punjab skipper Ravi Ashwin and one might say that Ashwin should have warned the batsman for leaving the crease but Ashwin was well within his right to run out Butler, whose dismissal in a way turned out to be the turning point in the game.
