England will take on Pakistan in the 1st T20 match of the 3-match series at the Old Trafford in Manchester. England captain Eoin Morgan believes that T20 World Cup places could be up for grabs for some players as they prepare to face Pakistan.The T20 World Cup will be held in India next year, with the 2020 edition in Australia now postponed to 2022. England will have to face Pakistan without Surrey opener Jason Roy who has been ruled out of the series due to a side strain. Pakistan T20 captain Babar Azam is the world's number one ranked T20 batsman averaging 50.72, behind only India's Virat Kohli and was the leading scorer in last season's T20 Blast with 578 runs for Somerset.Pakistan have lost five of their past six matches outside Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates. As well as being Pakistan's number one batsman in this format, Babar also takes on the captain's armband with many of his players now having to adjust from red-ball Test cricket to the white ball, just 48 hours after the Test series finished with England in Southampton.
