After beating the West Indies (WI) 2-1 in the first test series post corona lockdown England will now lock horns against Pakistan in the first test of the three match series at the Old Trafford in Manchester. In-form all-rounder Ben Stokes was unable to bowl in the 3rd test against West Indies because of a quad injury and played as a batsman. Pakistan's preparation included a 14-day quarantine period when the team landed in England at the end of June. Seamer Stuart Broad will feature after responding to his controversial omission from the West Indies opener with 16 wickets at 10.93 in the next two matches including his 500th in Tests.
