Cricket News: Dawid Malan dethrones Babar Azam from numero uno

Indian batsmen KL Rahul and Virat Kohli have been able to remain in top 10 of the ICC T20I player rankings for batsmen. English batsman Dawid Malan goes on top of T-20 international ranking for batsmen after an impressive performance in home series against Australia which England won 2-1. The 33-year-old left-handed batsman has progressed four places after scoring 129 runs which includes a man of the match performance of 66 in the first T20 international. Malan is now eight rating points ahead of Pakistan's Babar Azam. KL Rahul lost two places to move down to number 4 while skipper Kohli has moved up to 9th position. Virat Kohli and KL Rahul have been out of action and the last T20 international series they played was against NZ which they won 5-0. Australia regained numero uno spot in the T20 international rankings after losing the spot to England following defeats in the first two T20s.
