Cricket News: D-N Test talks triggered post Ganguly took over as BCCI President

According to the reports, the crowds at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens might witness Team India’s first-ever day-night match and that too in the upcoming series against Bangladesh. As per the Bangladesh Cricket Board, the BCCI would like the second Test of the India-Bangladesh series to be a day-night Test. The BCB cricket operation chairman Akram Khan said that the proposal for day-night Test has been received by the BCCI but the board will think upon it then respond. Newly-elected BCCI president Sourav Ganguly had earlier said that since Indian captain Virat Kohli is agreeable, India could be playing its first-ever day-night Test as soon as in the Bangladesh series.
