Cricket News: CSK beat RCB by 7 wickets in IPL

Defending champions the Chennai Super Kings got their IPL season 12 campaign got off to the perfect start as they thrashed Royal Challengers Bangalore by 7 wickets at the MA Chidambaram stadium in Chennai. The Royal Challengers lost skipper Kohli early when he perished after scoring just 6 runs and from there it was all down hill for RCB as they immediately lost AB Devillers with both falling to Harbhajan Singh, debutant Shimron Hetymer gifted his wicket away as he was run out cheaply and the wickets kept on tumbling like a pack of cards with Imran Tahir and Harbhajan wrecking havoc and restricting RCB to just 70 runs all out. Chennai in their chase took their time but easily got over the line in the 18th over to begin their campaign on a winning note.
