Cricket News: Chief Selector MSK Prasad on WC team selection

Indian selectors led by MSK Prasad have announced the squad for the ICC World Cup 2019 which will be played in England and Wales starting May 30. India have chosen wicket-keeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik instead of Rishabh Pant in their squad for the World Cup 2019. The 21-year-old Pant is one of India's emerging talents but the selectors have opted for 33-year-old Karthik's experience. Middle-order batsman Ambati Rayudu also failed to book World Cup 2019 berth.
