Cricket News: Ashish Nehra wants Rishabh Pant as part of WC squad

Former India pacer Ashish Nehra has come out in support of young wicket keeper batsman Rishabh Pant and has said that the Indian selectors should pick the youngster for the upcoming cricket world to be held in England. Nehru feels Pant has an X factor to him which makes him a pure match winner and not just a mere contributor. Along with Pant’s big hitting Nehra feels Rishabh provides another left hand batting option to the Indian batting which now consists of only a single left hander in Shikhar Dhawan. Pant meanwhile till now has got very few opportunities in India’s ODI side and would be hoping to be a part of the ODI squad to face Australia in the upcoming ODI’s at home
