Boxing News : IOC lifts ban over Olympic Solidarity Fund

In a welcome move for the world boxing body, the International Boxing Association, The International Olympic Committee has lifted its ban over the Olympic Solidarity Fund given to the international federations under various scholarship schemes for the development of athletes and sport. Earlier, the IOC had suspended all financial payments to AIBA, including assistance under the Olympic Solidarity as it was not satisfied with the report prepared by the AIBA on its governance, finance, refereeing and anti-doping issues.
