Boxing News: BFI shoots another ‘twist’ in Mary Kom-Nikhat Zareen trial saga

Tokyo Olympics 2020 selection trials are slated to be held on 27-28 December in Delhi and question whether who will face Mary Kom in the selection trials is picking up the heat. It was earlier perceived that Nikhat Zareen will face Mary Kom in the selection trials in women’s 51kg category, but according to the reports, the Boxing Federation of India has again changed the rules of the game without giving any formal notification and instead put the focus firmly on how the boxers fare in the ongoing private league organised by it. As of now, it’s been learnt that it’s a toss-up between Nikhat and Pinki Rani at the moment.
