Boxing News: 49kg dropped from Olympics, Amit Panghal changes weight category

India boxer Amit Panghal who won gold in the 49kg category at last year’s Jakarta Asian Games, is all set to make his competitive debut in the new weight class of 52kg at the Asian Championship to be held in Bangkok, starting April 19.The Asian games gold medallist decided to shift to the new category after 49kg was dropped from the Olympic programme last month by AIBA.
