LeBron James says he doesn't see any need for extra rest after recently turning 36-years-old, but jokingly wishes he could "bank time" like Justin Timberlake's character in the science fiction film "In Time", which envisioned a future society where people stopped ageing at 25 but could extend their lives using time as a currency. The outspoken James was also asked after the Lakers 112-95 victory over the Pelicans on Friday if there was a moment in his life that he made him decide to become an off-court activist. James responded that the shooting of unarmed Black teenager Trayvon Martin in Florida, while he was a member of the Miami Heat in 2012, shocked him into action and convinced him to use his platform as an NBA star to push for social and racial justice.
