Badminton News: Saina Nehwal pulls out of Swiss Open

Not a very good news for Indian badminton fans as star Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal. The London Olympics bronze medallist will be getting a surgery done for a stomach pain. In men's singles India’s Subhankar Dey beat qualifier Lucas Claerbout of France in straight games to advance to the second round of Swiss Open badminton tournament. Dey won 21-19, 21-17 in a 48-minute match to set up a second round clash against fifth seed Jonatan Christie of Indonesia.
