After an incredible feat on the court for Indian shuttlers Sai Praneeth and PV Sindhu in the recently concluded BWF World Championships, these players are pretty sanguine for their future tournaments and the tournament proved to be a major confidence booster for both of them. On one hand, where PV Sindhu achieved the historic feat by clinching the coveted gold, Sai Praneeth settled for bronze, something which has been almost after 36 years in the BWF World Championships. When talking about the ace shuttler PV Sindhu, it would be unfair not to mention her mentor Pulella Gopichand who guided her at times, when she needed the most. While being asked about Sai Praneeth and PV Sindhu, Gopichand said both of these medals are very, very important and that they have given him immense pleasure. He added that it was his biggest dream to win at this level and Sindhu has proved it once again.
