Badminton News: BAI has asked around 6,700 shuttlers to produce documents to prove that they belong to the right age group

Hardening its stance on the age fraud, the BAI has asked around 6,700 shuttlers in the country to produce documents to prove that they belong to the right age group. The documents include birth certificate registered in the year the shuttler was born and notarised affidavit from his or her parents spelling out details about the player’s birth. This is to be noted that players who don’t fall in line will not be allowed to play in age group tournaments.
