Wrestling News: Women wrestlers refuse to join national camp post Diwali break

The Wrestling Federation of India was forced to postpone the resumption of national camp for women wrestlers at SAI centre in Lucknow as most of the women wrestlers are refusing to go into mandatory quarantine on their return from a week’s Diwali break as they think that it will be a ‘waste of time’ and that they can utilise this time while training at their personal training centres. Wrestlers were disappointed after the United World Wrestling (UWW) early this month cancelled this year’s world championships after many countries refused to participate due to the pandemic.
