Iga Swiatek says she wasn't too nervous as she stepped onto Roland Garros's centre court to begin her French Open defence on Monday. The 20-year-old defeated her good friend Kaya Juvan 6-0 7-5 to start her campaign, saying some unforced errors allowed the Slovenian to force her way back in to the match. Swiatek was able to close out the victory in straight sets, but said she hopes her following matches will be a bit easier, mentally.
