Tennis News : Pegula downs Pliskova again to reach Berlin quarters

American Jessica Pegula has defeated fourth seed Czech Karolina Pliskova for the fourth time in less than four-month to move to the quarter-finals of the WTA Berlin 500 on Thursday. Having won in three tournaments in a row - in Doha, Dubai, and Miami - Pegula took the hard-fought opener 7:5, before dominating in the second set 6:2 to set up a meeting with seventh seed Victoria Azarenka in the last four of the tournament.
