Tennis: Kvitova beats Bencic to book spot in China Open quarter-finals

Two-time Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova navigated a tricky second set to defeat Belinda Bencic and book her spot in the China Open quarter-finals for the fifth time. The seventh seed rallied from an early break in the second set to dispatch Bencic, seeded nine, 6-3, 6-3 in just under an hour and a half. Kvitova will face top seed Ashleigh Barty in the last eight.
