Tennis: Federer vs Zverev match set fans attendance record in Mexico City

When Roger Federer took on the court for his first match in Mexico in 24 years, record 42,517 fans in attendance were ready to welcome him at the Plaza de Toros. It was the most-ever number of fans to attend a match in tennis history. The previous record of 35,681 was set in Serena Williams vs Kim Clijsters match in Belgium in 2010. Fans left the stands delighted as the Swiss star defeated world No. 7 Alexander Zverev 3-6, 6-4, 6-2.
