Tennis: Djokovic overcomes lights distraction, knocks out Shapovalov

Novak Djokovic defeated Denis Shapovalov in four sets in the third round at the Melbourne Park. Djokovic wasn't happy when the lights at Rod Laver Arena were suddenly turned on during his match with Denis Shapovalov. But the top-seeded Djokovic saw through it and knocked off the young Canadian 6-3, 6-4, 4-6, 6-0 to advance. The win guaranteed that Djokovic would keep his No. 1 ranking after the Australian Open. Rafael Nadal could have taken the top ranking if he won the tournament and Djokovic lost before the fourth round.
