Tennis: Bertens reaches Madrid Open semi-finals with straight sets win over Kvitova

Kiki Bertens booked her place in the Madrid Open semi-finals with a 6-2 6-3 win over defending champion Petra Kvitova. In a repeat of the 2018 final, seventh seed Bertens produced a superbly dominant display, firing down 13 winners en route to her win. She will now face eighth seed Sloane Stephens for a place in the final.
