The ICC event schedule confirmed through to 2031 sees a clear focus on growing ODI, T20, and reviving Test cricket. The T10 form of Cricket which was expected to be part of the ICC agenda to be introduced as a Olympic Sport, does not see a mention. For a sport to be introduced in the Olympic, it has to serve as a World Championship a couple of times, before being accepted. It is clear with the calendar decided till 2031 that the T10 form of the game is not something that the ICC is keen to develop, and hence it will now not be possible for member boards to encourage the t10 form of the game.
