Sports News: WAI president Bhupender Singh Bajwa talks exclusively to PS

After a really long wait of almost eight months, a sigh of relief has come to the Wushu players who were almost confined within four walls of their houses amid COVID-19 pandemic to train together but that too if everything falls in place. The Wushu Association of India in collaboration with Sports Authority of India is planning to organise a camp for players in January at the National Centre of Excellence in Bhopal, and if anything the association is waiting for are the approvals by the sports ministry and the Sports Authority of India. As the sporting spectrum slowly and steadily started broadening-up, sports like wrestling, shooting, and boxing have been granted permissions to resume certain activities with proper protocols in place, and when it comes to Wushu, the association will lay down its plans once it gets permission to resume training like other sports in the country.
