The national capital New Delhi is all set to host the International Shooting Sport Federation's Combined World Cup. The International Shooting Sport Federation's Combined World Cup involves events in rifle, pistol and shotgun. This would be the seventh continental or global multi-nation shooting competition to be staged in the country since 2012. The World Cup series will also serve as the qualification tournaments for the 2020 Olympic Games. The world cup which will have 16 Olympic quota up for grabs is all set begin on 20th February. Indian shooters will enjoy the home advantage and will play in front of packed Indian supporters cheering up for them. 2018 Asian games bronze medallist Abhishek Verma, who is also considered as a bright medal prospect for India for the Olympics is also high on confidence and motivation and is raring to hit the bulls eye.
