Motorsport: Styrian GP preview - records set to tumble at debut GP

Austria’s Red Bull Ring will become the first circuit in F1 history to host back-to-back races with the maiden Styrian Grand Prix. Red Bull have won three of the last five races in which a Grand Prix has made its F1 debut. Bottas has two victories and three pole positions at the Red Bull Ring, the most he has in either category at any circuit in his F1 career. Leclerc climbed five places in the last race (from 7th place on the start grid to finish 2nd), his best gain in position in a Grand Prix. Verstappen could record consecutive race retirements for the first time since 2017 (three in a row, including the Austrian GP). Hamilton could surpass Michael Schumacher’s most consecutive years with at least one Grand Prix win (currently on 13, 2007-2019).
