1)The Hangzhou Asian games has turned the tides of many countries on the Medal tally till date. Japan & South Korea will have to introspect into their performances

2)While China sits on top, and seems invincible, Japan & South Korea are seeing their worst performance in 2 decades at the Asian Games. They have hit their lowest since 2002

3) With 96 Golds in 2002, to less than half of it in 2023, South Korea's performance by their standards is a disaster. Their overall medal tally also sees a rude shock

4) Japan too seems to be performing at the same level as it did two decades ago. While retaining the rank of number 2, the overall gold stands at 44, which is way less than their performance in 2018, almost seeing no progress over the years

5) Its India's sporting story that seems to be seeing a radical shift and surging up the medal tally. They have created history this time in Asian games by bagging the highest number of medals since 1951

6) India seems to be soon getting ready to host big events like the Olympics!
