Football: USA, Canada and Mexico to host 2026 World Cup

The USA, Mexico and Canada will host the 2026 World Cup after winning a vote at the FIFA Congress on the eve of the 2018 edition in Russia. The joint bid beat the challenge of Morocco at Wednesday's FIFA Congress in Moscow. USA, Canada and Mexico received 134 votes to Morocco's 65. The 1994 World Cup was held in the USA, which was won by Brazil.
