Football: Sassuolo denied three goals by VAR - and lose 2-0 to Napoli

Napoli consolidated seventh spot in Serie A after a 2-0 win over Sassuolo on Saturday - but the visitors were denied three goals by VAR. Defender Elseid Hysaj gave Napoli an early lead, while substitute Allan rounded things off for Gennaro Gattuso's side in stoppage time. In between though, goals from Filip Djuricic, Francesco Caputo and Domenico Berardi were all ruled out after the intervention of VAR. Napoli, guaranteed Europa League football after winning the Coppa Italia, stay seventh - one place ahead of the unlucky Sassuolo.
