Almoez Ali scored four as Qatar thrashed North Korea 6-0 in Al Ain on Sunday to reach the knockout stage of the AFC Asian Cup. The Al Duhail striker Almoez Ali netted twice in the opening 11 minutes before Boualem Khoukhi made it 3-0 at the break. The 22-year-old added another two goals within 15 minutes after the restart as he became the leading scorer of the tournament with five in just two matches. Ali turned provider in the 68th minute when his pass allowed Abdelkarim Hassan to seal Qatar's 6-0 win. The East Asian side's misery was compounded in the final minute when Jong Il-Gwan was sent off for a second bookable offence.
