Football: Perth Glory beat Central Coast to move to top of the A-League

Perth Glory defeated Central Coast 4-1 to end 2018 in first place in the Australian A-League. Former Irish international Andy Keogh scored twice and Fabio Ferreira added two of his own to account for the Perth scoring as they moved three points clear of the Melbourne Victory and Sydney FC at the top of the tables. Jordan Murray scored his maiden A-League goal for the Mariners. The match was delayed for 45 minutes in the first half due to a broken goalpost
