Bayern Munich head coach Julian Nagelsmann believes Barcelona can still win this season's Champions League, despite Lionel Messi's recent departure from the club. The two footballing giants, who have won a combined 11 titles in European club football's premier competition, will meet at Camp Nou on Tuesday in a Group E fixture. Bayern have made a solid start to their German Bundesliga title defence, picking up ten points from four matches, including a 4-1 away win over head coach Julian Nagelsmann's former side RB Leipzig on Saturday. Serge Gnabry was taken off at half-time in that match, but Nagelsmann will be hoping that the striker will be available on Tuesday. Barcelona have also made an unbeaten start to their La Liga campaign, despite the absence of Messi. But the Catalan giants may be wary of a Bayern side that put eight goals past them at Camp Nou when the clubs last met in the quarter-finals of the 2019-20 Champions League.
