West Ham manager David Moyes laughed off reports that he tried to sign Cristiano Ronaldo during his time at Manchester United, wishing he could claim it's true. Moyes praised Ronaldo as a "goal scoring killer" as his side look to nulify his threat at the London Stadium on Sunday, as he spoke of his hope that he will see Michail Antonio follow in Ronaldo's footsteps. Jesse Lingard was also a topic of discussion and Moyes admitted that he did try to re-sign the England international, this time on a permanent deal, but Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told him in a private conversation that Lingard was not for sale.
