Football News: Man Utd ready to face Copenhagen, Leverkusen all set to challenge Inter in UEL quarters

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looked ahead to the Europa League quarter-final meeting with Copenhagen. The 'Red Devils', who won the Europa League in 2017, have been in fine form either side of the season's suspension, losing only once in their last 23 games in all competitions. The two clubs have only played twice before, in the group stage of the 2006-07 Champions League, where they picked up a win apiece. This latest meeting is being played on neutral soil due to the coronavirus, with the tie reduced to a single leg. Monday's winner will advance to face either five-time former champions Sevilla or Wolverhampton Wanderers in the semi-finals, which will be played in Dusseldorf, Germany a week on Monday. Meanwhile, on the eve of Monday's Europa League quarter-final against German outfit Bayer Leverkusen, Inter Milan head coach Antonio Conte and goalkeeper Samir Handanovic shared their throughts with the media. Inter are aiming to cap their recent resurgence with a first trophy in nine years. No Italian club has won this competition since Parma won what was then the UEFA Cup back in 1999. The 'Nerazzurri' (Black and Blues) are unbeaten in nine matches in all competitions, haven't conceded a goal in their last 5 and have lost just once in 15 since the season restart. Antonio Conte's side got to this point by beating Getafe of Spain 2-0 in a knockout last 16 match on Wednesday. All remaining Europa League matches from the quarter-finals onwards will also be played under a knockout tournament format in Germany - and without spectators.
