Football News : Indian women's squad for UAE & Bahrain friendlies selected

Indian women’s football team head coach Thomas Dennerby announces a 23-member squad for the upcoming friendly matches in the UAE and Bahrain starting from 2nd of October 2021. The team, which is currently camping in Jamshedpur with the help of the Government of Jharkhand, will travel to New Delhi on September 29 from where they will travel to the UAE for two friendly matches against the United Arab Emirates National Team on 2nd October and the Tunisia National Team on 4th of October. The team will subsequently travel to Bahrain, where they will play two friendlies against the Bahrain National Team on 10th of October and the Chinese Taipei National Team on October 13. The Indian Women’s Team will travel abroad on an exposure tour as part of their preparation for the AFC Women’s Asian Cup, which is set to take place in India next year.
