Indian women’s U-17 football team lost to Sweden 0-3 in their first match of the women’s football tri-nation tournament. Thomas Dennerby's first game as India U-17 coach ends in a loss. Goals from Matilda Liv Vinberg, Ida Nadine Andersson and Monica Bah sealed the win for Sweden, which will face Thailand in its next game. As for India, it will be back on Tuesday against Thailand. For now, Sweden tops the points table with three points in its kitty. Untill the half-time India were struggling defensively but looked better on the offence, coming close to scoring on a couple of occasions but as the match progressed, the Indian side did not able to hand the Swedish attack and ended up conceding one more goal.
