Football: Marine's FA Cup journey ends against Tottenham as Vinicius nets hat-trick in 5-0

A quick-fire first-half hat-trick from Carlos Vinicius helped Tottenham Hotspur cruised to a 5-0 win over Marine in the third round of the FA Cup on Sunday (10th January). Marine had given their high-flying opponents an early scare when Neil Kengni put his long-range effort off the crossbar. But Spurs took control from there, easing into a 4-0 first-half lead courtesy of Vinicius and a free-kick from Lucas Moura. Teenage substitute Alfie Devine completed the scoring on the hour mark with his good take effort - his first goal at senior level.
