The top of the table clash proved to be a one-side affair with Kawasaki Frontale leading three nil after just 23 minutes. The champions then added a fourth in the closing stages to record their 11th win in 13 matches, as they lead the standings on 35 points, six ahead of Nagoya Grampus.
