Football: Croatia tops Nigeria to take control of Group D

Croatia beat Nigeria 2-0 in Group D World Cup tie at Kaliningrad. Luka Modric set up one goal and scored another from the penalty spot. Juventus forward Mario Mandzukic’s diving header caused an own goal in first half. Croatia goes to the top of Group D as Argentina and Iceland drew 1-1 earlier.
