Benfica brushed aside Nacional with a remarkable 10-0 home win in the Portuguese Primeira Liga. Benfica scored their first goal after just 38 seconds, as Haris Seferovic assisted Alex Grimaldo. The Swiss striker then took matters into his own hands, scoring twice between the 21st and the 27th minutes. Five minutes into the second half, Joao Felix netted again for the hosts and three minutes later, Pizzi converted a penalty to make it 5-0. Pizzi was involved again in the 56th minute, when his corner was headed home by Francisco Ferreira, and in the 64th minute, when Ruben Dias scored from his free kick. It was then Jonas' turn - he scored from a free kick on 85 minutes and netted again in the 90th following a counter-attack. In-between Jonas' goals, Rafa Silva had made it 9-0 from another Pizzi assist.
