Football: Bayern Munich beat Turbine Potsdam 3-2 to move 5 points clear in the Frauen-Bundesliga

FC Bayern Munich Women survived a fightback to beat 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam 3-2 in the Frauen-Bundesliga on Wednesday. Potsdam took the lead when Orschmann fired Selina Cerci's parried effort in off the underside of the crossbar. However goals from Lea Schuller, Lina Magull and Hanna Glas gave the away side a 3-1 lead after 56 minutes. Bayern survived a fightback from Potsdam, Cerci brought one back for the home side and should have scored the equaliser later, but Bayern saw out the win. The win means the Bavarian side move five points clear of Wolfsburg at the summit of the table, having played one game more.
