Bora-Hansgrohe rider Peter Sagan swept to victory in Stage 3 of the Tour de Suisse in Murten, Switzerland on Monday, and took the race leader's yellow jersey from Denmark's Kasper Asgreen in the process. The triple world champion forced his way between Trek - Segafredo pair Jasper Stuyven and John Degenkolb in a dramatic sprint finish and crossed the line ahead of Elia Viviani of Italy (Deceuninck - Quick Step) to record his 17th stage win at the event. Degenkolb had to settle for third, after failing to hang on to his lead-out man. Sagan will take a 10 second advantage over Asgreen into Wednesday's fourth stage, a 164 kilometre (102 mile) route between Murten and Arlesheim, which features a category two climb at the halfway point.
